Society looks at Roe Valley writers

Limavady Historical and Cultural Society will meet tomorrow in the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre at 8pm for a talk focusing on local writers.

The talk will be delivered by local historian and school teacher George Dallas. Writers and local poets and their impact on Irish History will be the topic of discussion.

A light supper is provided and admission is free and open to the public.

The Group will be runing a site visit linked to the talk on the Siege of Derry on Saturday 16th March 2013.

The Group will meet in The RVACC at 10.45am for a talk on the life and times of St Patrick and leave for a trip of the City Walls, the Memorial Hall Museum, and the Cathedral.

The bus for the trip to the city will leave from the rear of the Ulsterbus depot at 12.15pm. There will be a surcharge of £10.00 in conection with this event.

Subject to demand the group may stop off at a local hotel for a meal.
