St. Patrick's Day darts tournament at Orchard Bar
The Orchard Bar in Gleneely are having their annual St. Patrick's Day Darts Contest and registration for the competition must be in before 6 p.m. on Monday, 16th March.There is five hundred euro in prize money with the Rose McLaughlin Perpetual Cup.
"Love and Land" a four act comedy by Lynn Doyle will be held in two venues: the first tonight at the Colgan Hall, Carn. Doors open 8 p.m. Show commences at 8.30 p.m. sharp. Proceeds to go to Carndonagh Boxing Club. Admission adults: 8 euros and children 5 euros. The second venue for "Love and Land" , to be held on Friday, 20th March,, is St. Eugene's Hall, Moville . Doors open at 8 p.m. and play begins at 8.30 p.m. Admission adults: 8 euros and children 5 euros. Proceeds in aid of New Methodist Manse, Moville. A play well worth seeing. Don't miss it!
A comedy play called "Second Honeymoon" will be performed in Greenbank Hall this Saturday 14th March at 8 p.m. by the Moy Craig Young Farmers. Admission is 10 euro including refreshments. All proceeds in aid of Greenbank Repair Fund.
A Social in aid of Donegal Hospice will be held in Hillhead Church Hall on Friday, 27th March, music by the Country Boys. Tickets six euros including supper. Dancing 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
McGuinness' Bar, Golf Society, Captain Joe McDermott's first outing of the year is to the North West Golf Club on Monday, 16th March with a 11.30 a.m. tee off. The bus will leave the village at 11.15 a.m. and all interested are asked to contact the Captain Joe or the president Bernard in advance.

The Cancer Support Group meets monthly every second Monday of the month at 7.30 p.m. in the Milltown House, Carndonagh. The Group's aim is to support Inishowen people who have been affected by cancer. Bring a friend if you do not want to come on your own.
