Strange clouds gather over Derry

These strange but stunning clouds were caught outside Derry by photographer Paul McCloskey.

Paul took the pics last Wednesday as he approached Claudy. He says others were stopping to stare at the formations.

“I usually have a camera in the car, a wee Olympus, and I stopped in two different spots and took these shots,” he said.

“There were other people stopping and taking pics and videos. It was beautiful to see in real life. I could see faces in some of the clouds, they were pretty amazing.”
