The Grand Master of Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland, Co. Derry man Edward Stevenson, said that the Orange institution “are a threat to no-one” during the Rossnowlagh Twelfth celebrations on Saturday past.
Mr Stevenson said that he believed the institution has “a strong future,” adding “We are in the Irish Republic but we are celebrating our British culture and identity. And we are a threat to no-one. In fact the people here want to play their part in the civic society of this country.”
Meanwhile, drivers in Limavady are advised of delays. The main parade takes place at 12noon - there will be no access to the town centre from 11:30am.
