A bus will leave the centre at 10.30am please contact the centre if you wish to get involved. The Lunch Club runs every second Wednesday and transport can be provided.

Forever Crafts group is organising a shopping trip to Belfast next Tuesday, March 8th, leaving St. Johnston and Carrigans Family Resource Centre at 8.30am. The cost will be 10 euro for the bus and a stop will be made for breakfast in the morning and on the return journey for dinner in the “Oakleaf”. Cost to be finalised. The Stepping Stones Playgroup recently held a fundraising morning in aid of Heart Children Ireland. The children all bought a windmill in aid of the fundraiser. Thanks to all who supported this worthwhile event.
The playgroup will be closed on Thursday 17th and 18th of March for the bank holiday and re-open on Monday 21st March.
The playgroup will hold their enrolment day on Wednesday 23rd March from 1pm to 3pm. for children wishing to start the Playgroup on September 11th. Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate, immunisation records as well as their PPS Number.
The Regional Employment Service can help unemployed people get back in to full/part time employment, identify training opportunities, how to prepare CV and fill out application forms and much more. The Outreach Officer will be in attendance in the Resource Centre today from 11am to 1pm. Ring Helen or Mary on 074 9128010 to arrange an appointment. This Service is supported by DLDC and ICTU and is free and totally confidential.
The Walk and Talk Group are planning to go to Buncrana on Monday, 28th February 2011, to walk the coast path to Fr. Hegarty’s Rock. Anyone interested in joining us should meet at the Drop-In Centre, Main Street, St. Johnston at 10.15am. We plan to car share so don’t worry if you have no transport. Please bring waterproofs and sensible shoes, also a packed lunch as there will be no shops nearby. We look forward to seeing you there.

Rural Transport Bus to Lifford/Strabane. Departs Carrigans, Thursdays 10 am. Pickup in St.Johnston at 10.10 am. Returns 1 pm arriving back in St Johnston at 1.20 pm and Carrigans at 1.30 pm. 50/50 Bonus Ball fundraiser is available in St. Johnston & Carrigans Family Resource Centre. The cost is 1 euro per line number. 50% goes to the Winner and 50% goes toward the Community Drop-in Cafe in St. Johnston Main Street. The draw is made against the Lotto Bonus Ball every week.
