A man in his 70s died yesterday evening in Buncrana while repairing a shed roof.
The man was working on the shed in his garden. It is understood he did not fall from the roof.
A Garda spokesperson said the man’s death was not believed to be suspicious. His body was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital for a post mortem.
He is the second man to die suddenly in Buncrana in the past week. On Saturday evening a man, named locally as Mr Stanley Morrow, was found dead in his home at Swilly Road, Buncrana. The scene was sealed off for a time. Gardai later confirmed they were not treating Mr Morrow’s death as suspicious.
