Mayor’s tea dance finale

Derry’s Mayor Colum Eastwood has decided to host one final tea dance at the Guildhall before the end of his tenure as Mayor. It will take place at 2pm on Wednesday, May 4 in partnership with Age Concern.

Mayor Eastwood said: “The tea dances are a real success with people from all over the city coming together to enjoy the music, dance and have a chat. This is the last one of my term as Mayor and I would hope to see as many regulars and newcomers as possible coming along and enjoying the event,” he said.

Tickets are free and available from the Council Offices on Wednesday next, April 27. Contact the Council’s Community Services on: 71. 365151.
