Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness will deliver a peace lecture in Warrington which was established to remember two boys killed in an IRA bomb 20 years ago.

Mr McGuinness has been invited to be the main speaker at the annual peace lecture at the Tim Parry and Jonathan Ball Foundation for Peace in Warrington tonight.

The centre was named after two boys who were killed when the IRA exploded two bombs in the town in March 1993. 54 others were injured in the attack.

Mr McGuinness was asked to deliver the lecture by Colin Parry, whose son, Tim, was one of those killed. Mr Parry set up the foundation in 2000.

The senior republican also visited the centre in 2001 and said the bombing was wrong.
