Meeting held over mental health review concerns

Foyle Sinn Féin MLA Maeve McLaughlin has met with health union representatives in Derry to discuss concerns over the implementation of the Compton Review.

Ms McLaughlin said: “During the meeting with Union officials we discussed a wide range of issues regarding the health sector provision for the public and effects and pressures this places on workers within the health service.

One of the main issues discussed was provision for the elderly and how this is changing, alongside the fact that we have an aging population and what are the consequences of this?”
