Great news! Féile Grianán Áiligh 2015 will celebrate the summer solstice, this Sunday June 21, at 04:55am, with a beautiful dawn chorus and musical programme. Event co-organiser, Mary Downey said: “Led by the wonderful Inishowen Traditional Group and the celebrated Codetta Choir, music and song will be provided at various intervals, from 1.30am until 7.00am, inside and outside Grianán Fort.“Safe on-site car parking is available from 1am, at a cost of 5 euro per vehicle, regardless of how many passengers you bring. This is excellent value as it also includes a ticket for the shuttle bus, which will ferry visitors up to Grianán Fort and bring them down, in comfort.
