Forecasters are warning of more heavy rainfall in Derry this afternoon.
The Met Office warning says although the latest downpour - and strong winds - will be heavy it should “move through fairly quickly.” They warn that driving conditions will become difficult and of further flooding.
The yellow alert reads: “Another area of rain is expected to cross Northern Ireland from the west on Wednesday afternoon. This will move through fairly quickly but will be heavy for a time, this falling on ground already saturated following the recent wet weather.
“Be aware of further run-off and surface water flooding. The combination of rain and strong or gale force winds will also give difficult driving conditions.”
