The unique Music City 2014 Dome, which has been built in Guildhall Square throughout the week will go live this evening with the first of three nights of free shows.

Tonight’s performances kick off from 6pm with local young people involved in the Sync Music Promise taking to the stage to warm things up. They’ll be followed by sets from Rachel Sermanni, Rams’ Pocket Radio, Dublin-based eletronic act Contour and a headline performance from Boxcutter.

Saturday night’s eclectic lineup will start from 6pm with a very unique trad performance from Tucan, before hitting full party mode with hip hop, beats, soul, reggae and everything else you can think of courtesy of NI team Plastic Surgeons and headliner DK (Ninja Tune, Solid Steel radio).

The bar opens at 6pm each evening and all events are free.
