Have you seen strange and mysterious markings appearing in Derry in recent days?
Well, what appear to be giant footprints have sparked huge interest, with evidence suggesting this may in fact be the distinct footprints of the dragons on their way to nest in St.Columbs Park!
These dragons are obviously getting ready to take up residence in St Columb’s Park next week as part of the city’s world famous Banks of the Foyle Hallowe’en Carnival, so local children are asked to be aware and look out for any sightings of these mysterious creatures! You never know where they may pop up!
Dragon Safari takes place on Monday, October 29 and Tuesday, October 30, from 1-5pm and again on Wednesday, October 31, from 1-3pm at St Columb’s Park where the mythical creatures will offer a fascinating safari journey.
Tickets are available from DCC offices, the Tower Museum, Derry Visitor and Convention Bureau and St Columb’s Park Leisure Centre priced at £10 for a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) or £3 for a single ticket.
Tickets will also be available on the day from the Gate at St Columb’s Park.
