The Grove Theatre Group is kicking off its new season with registration for all old and new members alike.
Yesterday registration began for anyone aged 11 and over and continues tomorrow (Saturday) from 3pm in the Studio Room at the Millennium Forum for children aged 7 to 11.
The group are keen to hear from anybody who wishes to become involved in what promises to be yet another exciting year.
The Grove completed one of their most successful years in its 30 year history during the 2010/11 season with events that included Halloween Tours, Haunted House shenanigans, Christmas Pantomime, character appearances at local community events, and one of the finest examples of local talent in the annual showcase concert in The Millennium Forum in July.
Martin Mullan, director with The Grove Theatre Group said “2011/12 will be another fantastic year at the Grove. We are planning our biggest and brightest panto yet featuring many local stars, old and new, which will start its run in The Waterside Theatre on Tuesday, December 6.
“We are keen to hear from new members, as obviously a show of this scale requires a lot of effort from everybody, both on and off stage.”
Auditions for the principal roles in this year’s panto, Aladdin are being held on Tuesday, September 6, at 7.30pm in the Millennium Forum.
