One of the city’s most prolific writers, Felicity McCall, has just launched her own website detailing the many books, novels, awards and community projects she has worked on during her busy career at: www.felicitymccall.com
Like all established writers nowadays, a presence on the World Wide Web seems to be an essential part of the literary profession.
Felicity’s new website, which includes scores of photographs of various book launches and events, neatly combines all her literary achievements and showcases her to a new online audience.
Indeed, it is easy to forget just how much work the local author has produced in recent years until you see the list of titles laid out in one neat section. Alongside her various commissioned projects and community work, Felicity has published a staggering eight books in eight years, including her first teen-novel Large Mammals, Stick Insects and Other Social Misfits, which was launched just last month.
Speaking to the ‘Journal’ this week, Felicity said of her new website: “With a book tour going on around Ireland at the minute with fellow Little Island authors Sheena Wilkinson and Kervin McDermott, sponsored by both arts councils, the time was right for a new site and new business cards.
“I’m delighted with the very professional and empathic site created by Jonathan Dennis at Tigris Solutions. Watch out for regular updates!”
