Night at the Races - with a difference!

Carndonagh Christmas Tree Fundraising Committee will hold a “Night of the Races” (with a difference) in Tully’s Bar this Saturday 28th December. There will be music on Wednesday 31st for the countdown and to welcome the new year.Please support the events and enjoy your Christmas in Carndonagh.

Carn Drama Club will be staging a charity performance of “Many Young Men of Twenty” on Sunday, 11th January at 8.30pm. All proceeds to a local Charity.

Inishowen Rugby club will hold its Annual Boxing Day charity game at the Carndonagh Community School pitch (behind the school),kick off at 2.30pm. Proceeds will go to a fund to help purchase a bus for the children of James Connolly Hospital as its current bus is deemed unroad worthy. Please come along and support this very worthy cause.

Legion of Mary needs new members to the order to continue its mission work in the parish. Meetings take place every Monday 7-8pm in the Pastoral Centre (behind the Sacred Heart Church). The Legion invites women and men of all nationalities. Everyone most welcome. Further details from 074 93 74996

Whist Drive will take place in the Colgan Hall on Sunday 18th January at 2.30pm in aid of St Brigids National School. Tea and refreshments will be served. Draw for extra tickets. Tickets only €5. All welcome.

A Charity Dance will take place this Sunday, 28th December in the Strand Hotel Ballyliffen in aid of a new wheelchair access bus for the James Connolly Hospital. Music by Charlie’s Country Kitchen. Dancing 10pm-2am with a light buffet served. Admission is €10, payable at the door.

Naiscoil Dhomhach Og would like to thank everyone who helped with their recent move to Bridgetown Park, especially Eddie Doherty and Michael Harkin. The official is after Christmas. We are currently taking names for part time places starting after Christmas and enrolments for freee ECCE places for September 2015.
