Learning disability charity Destined is urging the public to have their say about proposals for a North West Learning Disability Centre.
Charlene Keenan, Destined Feeny manager said plans propose to develop a centre in Derry to provide services for people across the North West with learning disabilities. It would cater for children at crèche age right through to older people. She said it would be the first centre of its type across the North of Ireland. Plans include proposals for a crèche and nursery facility, a youth club and after school club as well as a tourism project and a learning disability specific training project.
The meeting takes place at the Destined Centre in Feeny at 7pm on 27th November.
