Object appeal for Limavady United F.C. Exhibition

Have your say

Limavady Museum is appealing for help with an upcoming exhibition focusing on the history of Limavady United F.C.

The exhibition will open at the Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre/Ionad Ealaíon agus Cultúir Ghleann na Ró in Limavady on Saturday, July 7 and the museum would like to borrow items relating to the history of the club for the exhibition.

Victoria Newberry, Museum/Heritage Officer said: “We are appealing to fans and former players to lend their memorabilia for the exhibition. We are looking for things such as tickets, programmes, photographs, newspaper cuttings and football shirts and scarves. If anyone has anything that they think would be of interest, I would be keen to hear from them.”

To have your Limavady United F.C. items considered for inclusion in the exhibition, please contact Victoria Newberry, Museum/Heritage Officer on 028 7776 0650 or email victoria.newberry@rvacc.co.uk before 5pm on Friday 22 June. All items selected for display will be returned to owners when the exhibition ends.
