Christmas in Muff

On Sunday last the Muff Branch of the Apostolic Society held their annual Christmas Bazaar for the Missions in St.Mary’s Community Hall, the support they got from the business people and the local community was outstanding. The Muff Accordion set the atmosphere for the day by their playing of Christmas Carols, and of course Santa was there to collect the letters from the children, and Joe was appreciated for being in charge of the ever popular Rickety Wheel, the volunteers who helped on the day who were not members of the

Society were much appreciated as without the help the Bazaar would not have been the success that it was- the total

amount raised was 2,459.68 euro, and £222.75p. It is important to note that all monies raised will go direct to the

Missions The raffle winners were Breige Gallagher, Grove Cottages, 100 Euro Hamper, Susan Davonport, Iskaheen,Home-made

Christmas Cake, and Gabrial Lynch, Killea, Tin of Sweets.

The Parents’ Association of Scoil Mhuire Buncrana are having a “Gathering Reunion Disco” in the Plaza on Saturday 27th December 11pm to late. All welcome.

Santa will be returning to the Muff Community Park tonight from 6.30pm-9.00pm and on the 20th 4.30pm-7.30pm, and the 21st

1pm-3pm. Group bookings can be arranged.at other times.Santa will meet the boys and girls at the Grotto for a photograph and a treat. Entertainment being provided by Muff Youth Accordion Band. We invite all members of the community to take part in the Carol singing on the 21st at 2.30pm to see Santa off on his journey to the North Pole. Refreshments will be on offer.
