Derry will be rocked by the ‘Music For A New Revolution’ festival next weekend.
Some of the best songwriters from throughout Ireland and the UK will showcase their talent in the City of Culture over three days.
Organised by local singer-songwriter Paddy Nash, the three day event will explore the impact music can have on our political systems.
‘The Bard Of Barking’, Billy Bragg, opens the festival with a headline performance at The Nerve Centre on Friday August 30.
Support are Teknopeasant, Connor Kelly and Conor McAteer.
The following night Paddy Nash & The Happy Enchiladas take over The Glassworks venue.
The Happy Enchiladas are supported by Steve White & The Protest Family, Robb Johnson and Colm Bryce.
Finally on Sunday, September 1 Jinx Lennon, The Wood Burning Savages (unplugged), Eamon Friel and Little Hooks bring proceedings to a conclusion at Bennigan’s Bar.
