Parish mourns Gerard Kearney

Sympathy is extended from all in the parish to the Kearney family Moneydarragh,Gleneely on the recent sad and untimely death of their brother Gerard. Gerard was a very popular and friendly character and left a huge impression on so many people. He is survived by his wife Kathleen and daughter Leanne as well as by his brothers, Joe, Charles, Noel, Dan,Patsy and Martin and his sisters Marie, Bernadette, Dympna, Rose and Bridget and all his nieces and nephews. May he rest in peace.

The 20th Donegal Scout Group(Bocan),are looking for donations of old or unused camping equipment e.g. tents, portable gas hobs, camping cookware or anything that may be of use to a group of young people on a campsite like canvas sheets or tarpaulins. Culdaff /Gleneely Community Alert Committee

Ladies Kick-Boxercise Classes every Thursday in the Wee Hall Culdaff from 6.45pm–7.45pm. There is a teen only class in Carn GAA Clubhouse on Wednesdays at 5.30pm. For more information contact qualified instructor Lisa on 0879704194

Gleneely Wheelers Cycling Club meets every Saturday at 10am and Sundays at 2pm at Carrick’s Bar to go on a leisure cycle. A great way to exercise and get fit. Every standard of cyclist welcome.

Health and fitness related activity classes continue on Thursday in The Wee Hall Culdaff. New times are as follows 4.30pm – 5.30pm Junior infants and upto 7 years. 5.30pm – 6.30pm 8 to 10 year olds.all kids €3. For more info call Lisa 087 9704194.

Parent & Toddler Group

The weekly parent and toddler group continues in Bocan Hall every Wednesday from 10.30am until 12 noon and all are welcome.

Ceili Dancinhg in the Wee hall Culdaff every Wednesday night from 9pm – 11pm and Irish Dancing in Bocan Hall on Mondays from 5pm to 6.30pm. New children always welcome.

Dolphin Dance School hold classes every Tuesday in the Wee Hall Culdaff at 6pm for Juniors and 7.30pm for Seniors. Carndonagh Boxing Club is running a good as new shop in the Carndonagh shopping centre. All clothes or bric a brac welcome.Every donation helps towards funding the clubwhich is greatly appreciated by all the members.

Carn Boxing club is also holding the Karl Cantwell Memorial Darts tournament in the Sportsmans Bar Carndonagh on Sunday 10th April at 5pm. First prize is 50 euro plus cup. Entry fee is 10euro with all proceeds in aid of the Oncology Unit in Letterkenny Hospital. All support welcome.
