Sympathy is extended from all in the parish go to family of Kathleen Rawdon, Glasgow, whose funeral took place in St Boden’s Church Bocan. She is survived by her daughters Margaret, Kathleen and Rosaleen and her sons Michael and Brian, her grandchildren and the wider family circle. May she rest in peace.

Gleneely Development Association is holding a Big Clean Up tomorrow at 10am. Gloves, bags and pickers will be provided. All help welcome and refreshments will be provided afterwards.

Five tables took part in the quiz in the Culdaff Arms with Darragh Mclaughlin’s Cliff Rescue and helicopter team the winners from Brendan Lafferty’s Horse in into Ye Cynthia. Bar questions were answered by Mike Houlihan, Susan McLaughlin and Gerard Davenport. The Raffle winners were Noel Mclaughlin, Packie McFeely, Susan Mclaughlin, Callum Doherty and Elizabeth Craven. A total of €255 was raised towards the purchase of a defibrillator and Culdaff FC would like to thank all who supported the quiz.

The annual Culdaff Football Club Bazaar will take place in Bocan Hall on Friday 12th Dec at 7.30pm.

The annual General Meeting of the 20th Bocan Scouts will take place on Tuesday 2nd December at 8.30pm in the Scout Den located in the Old Bocan Playschool. If you want to be involved in your local community and help our children this is your chance.

There was an outstanding entry of 67 players fot this year’s Paddy Lafferty Pool Competition. Matches continue to be played in the Orchard Bar on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday nights. All monies raised this year will go to The Intensive care Unit of Letterkenny General Hospital. Anyone wishing to make a donation can do so in Carrick’s Bar or the Orchard Bar.
