Pensioner of the Year 2015 nominations sought now

Older People North West (Age Concern Derry) has commenced the search for this year’s ‘Pensioner of the Year’.

To be eligible for a nomination the only criteria that must be met is that the person must be over 60 and living in the Derry city area.

This year’s competition is sponsored by the Abbey and Central Hotel Group, Donegal Town.

The winner will receive a two night stay including dinner for two people at The Abbey Hotel. The winner will be announced at a Gala Evening to be held at Malvern House on Thursday, November 19.

Admission to the event is by ticket only and these can be obtained from Older People North West, Malvern House, Chapel Road.

The closing date for nominations is Monday, November 9 at 4:00p.m.
