Former Libertine, the babyshambling Pete Doherty makes his long awaited return to Derry’s Nerve Centre on September 15.
Doherty had to cancel his previous show as he was sentenced to six months following his conviction for cocaine possession.
The songwriter served only six weeks of the sentence.
He had originally been scheduled to play The Nerve Centre in May but was forced to postpone three Irish dates due to his latest conviction.
Pete Doherty was the front man of both The Libertines and Babyshambles. The Libertines 2002 debut ‘Up The Bracket’ was named tenth in an NME list of the all time greatest British albums ever.
Their 2004 self titled follow up went to number one and was listed at number 47 in the NME Greatest Ever British Albums list.
Tickets bought for the show in May are still valid for the rescheduled date or ring the box office on 028 7126 0562.
