Engage Live photography training academy is inviting photographers of all ages and abilities to join their professional instructors on an informal photo walk around Derry city centre on December 8 in aid of Foyle Hospice.

The Foyle Hospice Christmas Photo Walk will take in some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Guildhall, the Peace Bridge and the historic Walls.

All funds raised from the photo walk will be donated to Foyle Hospice, which provides palliative and end-of-life care for patients suffering from cancer.

“The hard work and endurance of Foyle Hospice staff is continually inspiring,” said Donal Doherty, Engage Live founder.

“Many people in the city hold the facility close to their hearts, including myself.

“In 2007, I ran the New York Marathon in aid of the hospice, and it was an experience I will never forget. Facilities like the Foyle Hospice need all the financial support they can get, so I hope that as many people as possible will join us in raising money for the Hospice on December 8,” said Donal.
