Playgroup hosts pyjama cinema night

Quigley’s Point Community Playgroup is hosting a cinema night in Quigley’s Point Community Centre on Saturday, October 25th from 5pm to 6.30pm with a screening of Monsters Inc. Cost is 3 euro. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children to come in pyjamas and bring a cushion/blanket. Proceeds in aid of Quigley’s Point Community Playgroup.

Did you know that food has a huge effect on our mood? Come join nutritional consultant, Jessica Peoples in a new course on Beating the Blues with Food. The course will take place over 4 weeks in November, as four two hour sessions. QPCC will be running a 6 week Beginners Sewing course to start 27th Octobers, on Monday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. Quigley’s Point Community Playgroup operates Monday to Friday 9:15am - 12:15pm in Quigley’s Point Community Centre. For children aged between 2 and a half and 5 years. ECCE, CETS and CCS places available. Phone 074 9383653.

The Halloween themed Radioactive Disco will take place on Thursday 30th October at Quigleys Point Community Centre. Junior Disco (Primary school children) will take place from 7:30pm-9pm (admission 3 euro), and Teen Disco (secondary school students) from 9:30pm-11:30pm,(admission 5 euro).

Underage football hsas begun in the community centre -Wednesdays 5pm to 6.30pm, 5th and 6th class , Fridays 6.30pm to 7.45pm 1st and 2nd class. Tuesdays 6pm to 7.15, junior and senior infants and 7.30pm to 8.45pm 3rd and 4th class. Everyone working with underage football teams must attend the child protection course in Greenbank Hall next Tuesday, 21st October at 7pm, cost 10 euro
