A Tea and Coffee Morning in aid of the Oncology Ward of Letterkenny General Hospital, will take place in St Aengus’ National School, Bridgend, next Wednesday March 28, from 11am until 1pm.

There will also be a Coffee Morning and Cake Stall on Saturday, April 7, from 11am until 12.30pm, in Fahan Presbyterian Church Hall in aid of church funds.

Aileach Walking Club has begun a training programme to enable you to walk at your fitness. The group will meet at Burt Presbyterian Hall, next Wednesday, March 28, from 7pm to 8pm and 8.15pm until 9.15pm. This will be in place of the morning walk. Walks normally take place every Wednesday and Saturday morning at 11am.

Why not spring into spring tomorrow by buying a tree. The Inishowen Environmental Group is holding its annual Tree Sale of native hardwood trees and shrubs at the Donagh Cross, Carndonagh, from 11am. 2 euro per tree/shrub, so why not go along and buy an environmentally friendly bargain!

Burt Bingo takes place every Tuesday in St Mary’s Hall, Burt at 9pm. A book costs 7 euro 7 and the Snowball is now 1000 euro. Please support your local bingo.

Thanks to all who have begun the local clean up. This will be ongoing for the next few weeks. Collect bags from Kathleen Grant or from Eileen at the Post Office. Thanks also to Donegal County Council for their help. Keep safe.

Coláiste Chinéal Eogháin is hosting a pamper night, on Wednesday April 25, in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel, at 8.00 pm. Various treatments are available. This would be an Ideal Mother’s Day gift. Tickets cost Euro 20 and are available from the Inishowen Gateway Hotel.

Community Gardening’s healthy gardening project is a ten week programme in the grounds of the Nursing Unit, Buncrana. It starts early April, one day a week. Contact Pauline or Mary at Inishowen Development Partnership on 074 9362218.

Parish Mission Church week: March 24 until April 1. We would like to welcome the team from the Céilí Community who have arrived in our parish.
