Police appeal after Limavady assault

Police in Limavady are appealing for information about an assault.

In the early hours of Friday November 28, two men forced their way into a house at Alexander Road and assaulted a man inside. He sustained lacerations behind one ear when struck with an iron bar.

Chief Inspector Alan Hutton said a 43-year-old man had been released on bail, however police were still keen to speak to anyone who saw the incident take place.
