Kearney criticises unionist leaders

Sinn Féin national chairperson Declan Kearney has criticised the leadership of political unionism.

The Claudy man made the comment during a speech at St Andrew’s University in Scotland on Wednesday during a panel discussion on the current state of the peace process in the North.

“Unionist politicians and paramilitaries are now vying with each other in a sectarian race to the bottom for votes and turf before next year’s election,” the Sinn Féin chairperson said.
