The plans to turn Nazareth House on Bishop Street into a unit for people with alcohol addiction has been met with much opposition by local residents.
Many of those living in the area say they are against the development of the unit because it is right beside two school.
Other residents believe that a dedicated unit for alcoholics will drive down house prices and many of the people in the area are calling on the developers to think twice about putting it in Bishop Street.
However, many of the residents who are against the installation of the unit have been accused of lacking humanity, kindness and what they are doing flies in the face of all that is Christian.
