Donegal County Council in conjunction with Donegal County Community Forum and Inishowen Community Forum is holding a free one day training course in use of Social Media platforms for the community and voluntary sector in Quigley’s Point Community Centre, IT Suite, next Tuesday, 13th November from 10am to 4pm. The course will consist of two practical sessions focussed on Facebook and Twitter, and will be held A light lunch will be provided. To book call Thelma on 0868776001. Places limited.

The Annual St.Vincent De Paul Senior Citizens’ Party will be held in St.Mary’s Community Hall on Thursday 22nd November at 7.30pm. All senior citizens welcome.

A Harvest Thanks Giving was held recently in Muff Church of Ireland. The church was tastefully decorated with fruit and flowers. The Mayor Mary Porter was among the large congregation. Special music was provided by the choir under the direction of Mrs Marion Kee, organist and the service was conducted by Rev. Katie McAteer. Again we were delighted that Warren View Manor was made available to us for refreshments after the Service. Thanks to all concerned.

The Months Mind Mass for Jimmy Rehill will take place in the Sacred Heart Church Muff tomorrow at 5pm.

Sean Davis Fun Soccer Academy will be held in the Community Centre, Quigley’s Point every Wednesday from 5pm-7pm for boys and girls aged 5 to 16 years.

The winning numbers in this week’s Naomh Padraig’s GAA Lotto were 4,2,6,1,7,5,3 There was no Jackpot winner but 35 euro each went to Roy Robb, Michael Monaghan, Grove Cottages, Junior & Martin c/o Mary Deeney’s.
