SDLP Foyle MLA Pat Ramsey has shown his support for the premature and sick baby charity TinyLife at an event at Stormont on Tuesday.

Attending the launch of the TinyLife Pram Push 2014, Mr Ramsey met with families from across Northern Ireland who have experienced premature birth and benefited from the services provided by the Carryduff-based baby charity.

Mr Ramsey said: “Having children brings so much joy, but for many people that joy is overshadowed by bringing a baby into the world who is born premature.

TinyLife has helped many people deal with that; providing invaluable support at a time when they really need it.”

Praising the work of TinyLife, Mr Ramsey said the charity had touched the lives of many families across Northern Ireland and he urged people to support the charity and the pram push, which is scheduled to take place at Stormont Estate on June 7.
