This Saturday, December 20th, will see the Nativity brought to life at Veritas on Shipquay Street.

The store will play host to a unique presentation of real people acting out the Nativity story.

The young performers have been recruited from schools in the Derry Diocese.

They will present, through a mixture of mime and narrative, the Nativity story in the shop windows of Veritas.

Accompanying carols will be sung by the Long Tower Junior Folk Group.

A spokeswoman for the organisers said: “The event promises to be an engaging one, which focuses on the real heart of Christmas and exhibits the delightful talents of local children.”

It will get under way at 12pm.
