Limavady Community Network will launch a Community Art Exhibition on Monday, 15 September in Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre at 7pm, as part of the ongoing community development work of the Network.
The Art Exhibition runs from Monday, 15 to Sunday, 21 September and will showcase some of the excellent work within the community of Limavady, groups such as Creative Holistic Art Therapy (CHAT), Restore Community group, Roe Valley 55+ Activity Group, Be Safe, Be Well, Dromboughil Community Association and the Claire Kelly Memorial Fund will have paintings displayed.
The paintings are not only for display but can be purchased and all prices will be available at the Arts Centre.
Catherine Farrimond, Community Development Officer of Limavady Borough Council said: “Limavady Community Network has been growing from strength to strength over the past two years and groups felt that an Art exhibition would help raise the profile of the Network while also displaying the first class art work of the groups within it.”
Maureen Hudson of Restore Community Group commented, “there is so much creativity within the community sector in Limavady, we felt as a Network it would be a great opportunity to showcase some of that work.”
