A Coffee Morning and Bring & Buy sale is to be held in the home of Derek and Hazel Browne, Lenamore on Saturday, 14th April from 10.30am – 2.30pm. Donation 5 euro with funds raised going to M.S. This event is being organised by the 9th Muff Donegal Scout Group and your support would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to the 61 children from Hollybush Primary School, Culmore, and 4 children from Culmore Primary School who were confirmed in the Sacred Heart Church, Muff last Tuesday 27th March. The confirmations were performed by Monsignor Eamon Martin; also in attendance were Farther John Farren P.P. Iskaheen, Father Colum Clerkin, Thornhill, and Father Francis Bradley who acted as MC. Mrs Joyce Logue and Mr Francis Mallon prepared the children from Hollybush and Mrs Clare McMenamin prepared the children from Culmore Primary for the Sacrament. The beautiful music in the Church was supplied by Hollybush children’s choir, under the direction of Yvonne Bradley accompanied by Patrick McGarrigle. After the confirmation refreshments were served in Hollybush School.

Muff Youth Accordian Band has been invited to take part in the Carndonagh Easter Parade on Easter Monday.

Don’t forget the Country & Gospel Concert with yodelling Kenny Archer and the Collorado Band featuring Melissa Hamilton and Uel Bailie that will take place in Greenbank Hall, Quigley’s Point next Saturday. 14th April at 8 p.m. Admission only 8 euro/£7. A night not to be missed.

A dance in the Halfway House on Easter Sunday night is in aid of Alzheimer’s Research. Music for the evening will be by Hugh McMonagle. Dancing from 11.00pm – 1am, followed by a disco.

Warren View Manor will be hosting an Easter Tea Dance on Wednesday 11th of April. Come along and enjoy an evening of excellent music, dance and craic. Music provided by Eddie and Friends, admission is free but donations are always welcome. We will also be hosting another Open Day on Sunday, 6th May. Come and have a look around, light refreshments will be served.

Warren View Manor Kitchen will be closed during Holy Week and Easter Week.

Line Dancing will not take place on Easter Monday but will resume as normal thereafter. All levels welcome and only 5 euro.

Time on your hands group – No activities during the Easter Week, Look out for the new summer programme.

The numbers drawn in last week’s Naomh Padraig’s GAA Lotto draw were 7, 3, 2, 6, 4, 1 and 5. There was no Jackpot winner and the 100 euro runner-up prize went to Patricia McColgan, Drumanail. This week’s Jackpot will be 850 euro. The All County League started last weekend and Naomh Padraig travelled to Burt.

Fun Fitness classes are ongoing on Monday (Quigley’s Point Community Centre) and Wednesday (Quigley’s Point FC in Muff). New starts are always welcome and classes are adjusted to suit all ages 16-80, and abilities. Aerobics are at 6.30pm and Circuits at 7.30pm. There will be no classes next Monday 9th and Wednesday 11th April. 20% discount is giving on sterling and cheaper rates for u-18s offered.
