Around 80 volunteers from Derry yesterday joined the search for missing Creggan teenager Sean McNair.
The 17-year-old from Rinmore Drive has been missing since he went into the water off Rathmullan Pier in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Searches, involving volunteers, family and friends, the Sheep Haven Sub Aqua Club and specialist Garda divers have been hampered by bad weather.
Earlier this week, Sean’s mother Jackie, described her son as her “blue-eyed boy.”
“He never would have complained about anything. He wanted to do his A Levels and go to America and be self-employed. He was just an amazing son, the only one I have. I just want him home.”
It is hoped the search will resume later today.
