The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for ice in the North on Wednesday.

Sub-zero temperatures throughout Tuesday night and Wednesday morning resulted in icy patches throughout Derry and parts of Inishowen.

Motorists and pedestrians are being urged to take care as there is a chance of difficult driving conditions on untreated roads and slippery conditions on pavements and cycle paths are possible.
