Heavy snow in the Roe Valley forced a number of local schools to close on Tuesday while motorists faced treacherous conditions on the roads.
From Foreglen to Feeny and to Limavady, several inches of the white stuff fell and, for people living on higher ground, there was at least a foot of snow.

There were also treacherous conditions on the A6 Glenshane Road between the Glenshane Pass and Claudy.
Schools closed in the Roe Valley include Drumachose Primary School, Limavady; Limavady High School; St Canice’s Primary School, Feeny; Roe Valley Integrated Primary, Limavady; Limavady Central PS and Drumrane Primary School, Dungiven
