Children and young people are dicing with death by playing a dangerous game of dare with buses servicing Cornshell Fields, it’s been claimed.
Sinn Fein Councillor Tony Hassan has highlighted the issue and warned that someone will be killed or seriously injured if it continues.
Councillor Hassan said: “In recent weeks children as young as twelve have been running alongside the service bus and then darting in front of it in what seems to be a game of dare.
“On several occasions the children have also attempted to open the doors and it is only a matter of time before someone is killed or injured. I am appealing to parents to ensure that their children are not involved in these type of incidents because as well as a threat to lives Translink have also had to look at withdrawing the service,” concluded the councillor.
