Strabane wheelie bins padlocked after spate of thefts and burnings
Wheelie bins are being padlocked across Strabane following a spate of thefts and burnings recently.
The Derry City and Strabane District Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) provided the locks in response to community concerns.
A spokesperson explained: “After a spate of incidents where wheelie bins were removed from homes and set on fire, Derry and Strabane PCSP have provided a number of wheelie bin locks to residents in Strabane.
“These locks will be distributed and fitted by Strabane Community Search and Rescue.”
