A play by Laurence McKeown, starring Derry actor Conor Barr, has been given a distinctly Derry flavour.

McKeown’ play ‘Two Roads West’ has been given a City of Culture upgrade.

The play, which is set and performed in a taxi, involves the driver, one actor and a select audience of only five per show.

‘Two Roads West’ now features the city walls, teenage kicks and childhood sweethearts as it travels through Stroke City, through hope and history, telling stories of the west bank of the Foyle old and new.

The audience follows Rosie who is returning to the city after an absence of over 40 years. She goes on a tour of the city with driver and tour guide Gerry. The question posed by McKeown is “do they know two different cities, or the same city differently?” To book tickets visit www.millenniumforum.com
