Talented Brian through to RTE final

Congratulations to Burt’s Brian Sheerin who has made it through to the final of RTE’s “Ireland’s Got Talent”. Hopefully this talented musician and singer can go all the way and do us proud!

St Mura’s Players are staging John Craig’s latest play: “Dr James Muldoon” in the Fowler Hall, this Sunday, 13 March at 8pm. All proceeds are in aid of Africa Direct. So come along for a great night’s entertainment.

Fahan Presbyterian Church is hosting a cookery demonstration, by Brian McDermott, in the Church Hall, tonight at 7.30pm. There is also an Easter Coffee Morning and Cake Sale in the Church Hall on Saturday, 23 April, at 11.00am until 1.00pm.

If you are interested in photography then why not come along to the Monday night course, in St Michael’s Hall, Inch, from 7.30pm until 8.30pm. The cost is 3 euro per night and everyone is very welcome. Who knows, we might even start a local photography club!

Burt GAA Club’s Annual Presentation and Supper will take place in An Grianán Hotel, Burt, on Friday, 18 March, at 8.00pm. The inimitable Cavanagh Brothers will provide music and the cost is 20 euro. Last week’s lotto winner was Ciaran Bradley who won 60 euro.
