Tomorrow night, the Foyle Women’s Information Network, in association with The Playhouse, will host a preview of ‘I Once Knew a Girl - Unheard Stories of Women’, followed by a Q&A session with some of the cast and a stunning photographic exhibition entitled ‘Making Our Truth Visible’.
These superb International Women’s Day events take place from 7pm tomorrow night, Wednesday March 7, at Derry’s Playhouse on Artillery Street. This evening will provide a unique opportunity to see first-hand a 13 minute screening which is based on the Theatre of Witness production by the same name; this short film imparts the flavour and power of some of the women’s stories from the live theatre production, and some of the cast will answer questions on the experience thereafter.
This evening will also host a unique photographic exhibition from women who identify themselves as refugees and asylum seekers, victims and survivors of the conflict in and around Northern Ireland and in conflicts worldwide.
If you would like to be a part of tomorrow night’s events, RSVP Mary or Catherine on: email@example.com or telephone: 71. 266291 today.
