Thieves steal four iPhones

Police at Strand Road in Derry are appealing for information about a theft from a shop.

Constable Connolly, the investigating officer, said on Sunday September 13 three youths went into an electronic cigarettes shop at Spencer Road and stole four iPhones that were on display in a glass cabinet in the front window.

“This was the result of a distraction carried out on two members of staff,” said Constable Connolly. “Two iPhone 4S and two iPhone 5s were stolen.

“The first youth is described as being 5’4” in height, slim build, aged about 17 with short back and sides blond/fair hair. The second is described as 5’10” in height, heavy build, wearing a blue jumper and blue shorts, with short back and sides black hair aged about 18 or 19. The third is described as 5’10” in height, heavy build, wearing a black top and grey tracksuit bottoms, with short back and sides black hair aged about 18 or 19. All three spoke with southern accents,” added Constable Connolly.
