Three arrested on terrorist probe released

Three men arrested in Derry yesterday by detectives investigating terrorist-related activity have been released unconditionally.

The men, aged 44, 55 and 61 were taken into custody yesterday as part of the investigation into what the PSNI termed “dissident Republican terrorist activity”.

Detectives from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch carried out the arrests and all three men had been taken to Antrim police station for question.

A house in the Creggan area was searched as part of the operation.
