Building on their success from last year members of the St Patrick’s College Dungiven Traditional Group and Glor Dun Geimhin are rehearsing and preparing to entertain at their second annual ‘Traditional Night’.

Organisers have confirmed a line-up of musicians and singers from the staff and students of St Patrick’s, the local community and further afield.

“This will be an excellent night celebrating traditional Irish Music, Song and Dance and will be the beginning of a weekend of St Patrick’s Day events in the community and beyond.

“The event starts at 7pm on Thursday 12th March in St Patrick’s College Dungiven,” said a spokesperson. “Admission is free and there will be refreshments served throughout the evening. Everyone is welcome to attend and should be encouraged to bring an instrument and join in the entertainment.”
