Most of the traffic restrictions imposed after the twin bomb blast in Derry last night have now been lifted.

Car owners whose vehicles were locked in Foyleside car park are now being advised they can return to their cars.

Queens Quay and John Street are now open to through traffic.

Police say Strand Road between Queens Quay and Baronett Street remain closed.

They say the Foyle Embankment remains closed temporarily and should be reopened soon.

There are traffic restrictions remaining in place between Foyleside Roundabout and Orchard Street.
