Last week, The Derry Journal revealed that a special festive cinema will descend upon Ebrington Square in the run up to Christmas but there is also the Christmas Markets, the LegenDerry Ice Rink and many many more things to do.

“The Christmas Village in Ebrington will have a whole host of entertainment for all including live music, a magical Christmas Funfair, and the fantastic LegenDerry Ice Rink, to keep the family entertained as the grown-ups peruse the gorgeous array of gifts in the popular Christmas market.

“The city centre will also be a hive of festive activity with special themed activities based in the Craft Village on December 6 and 7, 13 and 14, 1pm-5pm each day. Youngsters can enjoy storytelling, arts and crafts and puppet shows - and all for only £1.

“Don’t forget the big Christmas Lights Switch On which returns to the Guildhall Square this year on November 20, when we welcome Santa to the city for a LegenDerry festive celebration.”
