Wartime love letters on show

The Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre is hosting an exhibition tomorrow at 7pm to learn about some of the more romantic items in its museum collection, inluding lover letters from World War 11

“What could be more romantic or emotive than hearing or reading firsthand a selection of letters written from a wife to her husband on active service during the Second World War?” said a spokesperson.

The talk will be the first in a series of ‘Objects in Focus’ talks which will be take place at various times throughout the year. Each talk will examine an item or selection of items from Limavady’s museum collection in depth.

The Centre’s Museum/Heritage Officer, Victoria Newberry will facilitate the event and admission is free, however places must be booked in advance.

There is a Maximum of 20 places available so book early to avoid disappointment.
