The death of Harry Joseph Reddin evoked much sadness locally. Harry died suddenly and peacefully in his beloved Iskaheen (in his own garden) on the 2nd May. Harry and Carmel (his wife of 58 years) retired to Donegal 17 years ago, and to quote Carmel, “They were the happiest years of his life”. Harry was born in Derry on 11th August 1928, and his late family lived at the Collon Villa, Buncrana Road. He was the last member of this family. He will be sadly missed by his wife Carmel, sons, Martin, Sean, and Ross- his in-laws June, Katrina and Susan, and his grandchildren Niamh, Aoye, Tiarnan, Fiachra, Aisling, Joseph, and Cormac. May he rest in peace.
